If there’s a golfer in your life… or maybe you are the golfer in your life, then golf apparel is on your gift list.

If it is golf clothes for which you are looking, then you probably already know what type of style that you like and the sizes of golf clothing you would wear.

If you are gift buying some golf apparel for someone else the aforementioned criteria is where you would want to start.

Might I suggest a good golf rain suit for you to put on your mind. I slugged by with one for way too long before grabbing myself some golf rain gear.

However, depending upon the golfer you are looking to buy some apparel for, you may want to try to find out if they are particularly fond of a specific brand such as Nike golf apparel, Adidas golf apparel, or even Ben Hogan style of golf clothing and apparel.

And guys, if you are shopping for a lady then by all means there are many avenues and questions that need to be considered with lady golf apparel. The gals too may have a specific fondness for a type of women’s golf clothing be it Adidas women’s golf apparel or Nike ladies golf apparel.

If you are starting from scratch for someone, generally you want to start from the ground up, which would be a good pair of golf shoes. Don’t skimp on the golf shoes whether you are looking to buy for someone on your list or for yourself.

The foundation of the golf swing is the foot action and sore, tired, uncomfortable feet make for a week foundation for the golf swing. Be sure to take into account what type of climate the golfer will most likely be playing in.

In warmer weather, you’ll want to make sure that the golf shirts, pants, or shorts are a light breathable material that allow for good circulation. For colder weather, obviously warmer golf attire will get the call. But, make sure you go with lighter weight clothes that allow for the golfer to add and subtract layers as the comfort level dictates. Bulky golf attire may seem warmer but will affect the golf swing.

For me personally, as I mentioned earlier, the piece of golf gear that I didn’t have for the longest time was a good set of golf rain gear. Being an avid golfer, I don’t know what took so long. But in retrospect, a good set of golf rain gear (golf rain pants and golf rain jacket) should have been much higher on my list.

If you can get a good golf rain suit for the golfer in your life, this is a great choice. And... a nice accessory for the golf rain wear is a golf bag rain cover.
